Complaint Letter Regarding Shan Liyanage Luxury Wedding Cars
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding our experience with Shan Liyanage Luxury Wedding Cars. As a couple excited to start our life together, we expected professionalism and reliability, but unfortunately, we were met with the opposite.
At the time of our reservation, Mr. Liyanage requested a deposit, which we promptly paid. To our astonishment, he later offered a seemingly strange proposition of a 50% discount if we paid him an additional amount within 24 hours. Trusting our instincts, we declined, and it turned out to be the right decision, as the service we received was dismal.
On the day of our pre-shoot, Mr. Liyanage failed to deliver any car, completely ruining our plans. His absence not only caused significant stress but also affected the overall joy of our special day. When we attempted to reach out for clarification, we were told that our 20,000 rupee deposit would be returned within 2 hours. However, this promise turned into a long waiting game, stretching from 2 hours to 10 days—still with no sign of our refund.
While the monetary loss is frustrating, it is the lack of respect and consideration that we find most disheartening. It is incredibly sad to encounter individuals in the service industry who ruin what should be one of the happiest moments in a couple’s life.
On a more positive note, I would like to commend Malkey Rent A Car, from whom we ultimately decided to hire for our wedding. Their service was exceptional, and the drivers were polite, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout our event. Thank you, Malkey Rent A Car, for providing the professionalism and care that we so desperately needed.
